Our Wellspring Weekend presenters have decades of experience helping families face and overcome life's challenges. They excel at turning research-based information into relatable and engaging content. They are dedicated to providing practical solutions tailored to your family's needs.

Wendy Ables, MBA

Wendy has 25 plus years' experience in human resources and administration in the faith-based community. Her passion for sharing information, skills and tools helps empower people to be their best selves. As a community advocate, Wendy works with organizations to provide resources and health and wellness programs where they are most needed.

Cynethia Rayford, MEd

Cynethia has decades of experience in social work and youth worker development. She trains workers statewide and nationwide in cultural inclusion, youth development and professionalization. Her training style is energetic, fun and conversational. She is a big believer in the importance of forgiveness and discussing expectations in relationships. She also understands firsthand the patience and effort it takes to care for loved ones with disabilities.

Greg "Heady" Coleman

Heady serves as an experienced facilitator and career coach. As a pastor, he enjoys helping and encouraging others through life's joys and challenges. As an active member of his community of Guthrie, Oklahoma, he knows the power that comes from creating opportunities for people to connect and build a network of support. He wants you to leave your Wellspring Weekend knowing that you can cross the finish line successfully every day. Heady and his wife Bernadette are raising three dynamic children together.

Scott Roby

Scott strives to share relevant information in fun and engaging ways. With more than 30 years of experience as a facilitator, trainer and consultant —and even more years as a parent—he knows how to encourage positive change in individuals, organizations and government systems. If you really want to get Scott talking, ask him about the Kansas City Chiefs.

Keila Garcia, MA

Keila's passion is to see children and families thrive! She holds a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology and a master's in leadership. She's worked with couples and families for the last 16 years as a Family Life Educator educating parents, grandparents and foster parents on child development and quality child care. Keila has been married to her husband for 23 years and is also the proud mom of Rachel, Haziel and Jafet. She likes having the ability to communicate in English and Spanish (her first language), loves spicy food and will tell you that this workshop is "muy bueno."

Claudio Rubio, MSF, MBA

Claudio is a bilingual educator in the Family Expectations program for expectant couples. He enjoys learning from their experiences and aims to positively contribute to their journey. He values everyone’s opinions and experiences and learns a lot from the parents he works with. He believes we all have something unique to bring to the table. His wife of 17 years, Leah, is his greatest support. When Claudio isn't facilitating classes or crunching numbers, you may find him playing tennis, kicking a soccer ball with his son or attending a dance recital for his daughter. Claudio holds a master of science in finance and a master of business administration. He is currently the Treasury Department Credit Manager at Chesapeake.

Maria Gutierrez-Saldana

For 11 years, Maria has dedicated herself to supporting and serving hundreds of couples attending Family Expectations who want to strengthen their relationships. Maria first worked as a couples' coach, and for two years she has been a parent educator. She also conducts home visits to support families in the community on how to raise physically and emotionally healthy children. Maria's academic carrier includes a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and Journalism and a master's degree in international relations. She has been married for 30 years and is the mother of Aedan and Gael. Maria likes to read, exercise and eat! She is still searching for the best street tacos in Oklahoma. Recently, Maria traveled to Mexico to celebrate the 60th Wedding Anniversary of her parents, whom she considers an example of patience and filial commitment.

Scotti Wilson, MEd

Scotti, as a Learning Strategies & Delivery Systems Senior Specialist, creates and connects critical content to the right people at the right time. Scotti's expertise in instructional design, learning strategies and technology drives the development and delivery of high-quality learning experiences for staff, clients and community partners at Public Strategies. As a part of the Content and Knowledge Management Team at PS, she provides training and facilitation in a variety of curricula in the areas of employment readiness and family strengthening. Scotti holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in reading from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Marlon James, MA

Marlon has traveled the world for 23 years while serving in the United States Army, where he earned the Bronze Star With Valor for his actions in combat. He is an experienced Program Manager for the Department of Defense at Tinker Air Force Base. Marlon has a blended family of five, has served three years as a foster parent and is an experienced facilitator, trainer, educator and adjunct professor. Marlon finds joy in serving his community, mentoring others and extending hospitality.

Amanda Young, PhD

Amanda has experience in several fields, including education, educational administration, health education and promotion, program evaluation, program management and curriculum development. As a skilled facilitator, she strives to provide content in purposeful and heartfelt ways. She has worked for Oklahoma Human Services and has served both foster and adoptive parents.
